As Operations and Quality Assurance Manager for the Missouri Cancer Registry and Research Center (MCR) at the University of Missouri, Lucinda is dedicated to advancing high-quality cancer surveillance across the state of Missouri. She provides leadership, oversight, and support to reporting facilities, ensuring compliance with state and national reporting requirements while fostering continuous improvement in data quality and reporting practices. Her responsibilities include training and mentoring reporters, streamlining workflows, developing educational presentations, testing software and metafile updates for national standard setters, fulfilling information requests, and supporting data-driven projects. Backed by more than three decades of experience in Health Information Management, including over 22 years as an Oncology Data Specialist, Lucinda is recognized for her expertise, collaborative approach, and commitment to excellence. As an active member of NCRA, NAACCR, and AHIMA, she remains engaged in shaping best practices and supporting the ongoing evolution of the cancer registry profession.
