Deborah Carnagey serves as an Education/Training and Sr. Data Coordinator with the Missouri Cancer Registry and Research Center (MCR) at the University of Missouri. She develops educational resources, provides training and guidance, supports registry quality initiatives, and helps registrars interpret and apply evolving coding and reporting standards. With more than 17 years of hospital experience and 5 years of central registry experience, Deborah brings knowledge of cancer surveillance, data quality, and registry operations. She held the Certified Oncology Data Specialist (ODS-C) credential for over 10 years, reflecting her specialized expertise in oncology data management and cancer registry practices. As a proud member of NCRA and NAACCR, she is dedicated to advancing cancer surveillance, research, prevention, and improving health outcomes for Missouri communities.
